Dhaka, Nov. 19 -- BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has gone into a self-quarantine at home after one of his family members contaminated with coronavirus.

Mirza Fakhrul was scheduled to attend the birthday celebration programme of BNP's Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman but he failed to participate it physically due to the contamination of one of his family members. Later he joined the function via videoconference and confirmed about the news.

Mirza fakhrul said, "I am sorry that I could not attend this programme because corona has been caught in my house. As a result, I have entered for self quarantine for 14 days."
