Dhaka, May 15 -- Bangladesh all-rounder Mehedi Hasan Miraz has been crowned the ICC Men's Player of the Month for April 2025, becoming only the third Bangladeshi cricketer to receive the prestigious award.

He follows in the footsteps of Shakib Al Hasan, who last won it in March 2023, and Mushfiqur Rahim.

Miraz's stellar all-round performance in the home Test series against Zimbabwe played a key role in securing the honour.

His efforts included 15 wickets - with three five-wicket hauls - and a commanding 104-run century in the second Test in Chattogram, which Bangladesh won by an innings and 106 runs to level the series 1-1.

His outstanding contribution also earned him both the Player of the Match and Player of the Series awards.
