Dhaka, Oct. 30 -- Metro rail services were temporarily suspended on the Agargaon-Motijheel section of the capital's Line-6 on Wednesday night due to jerking at the Farmgate point.
However, services on the Agargaon-Uttara section continued to operate as usual, according to officials from the Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL).
Earlier this week, metro rail services were halted for 23 hours on the Shahbagh-Bijoy Sarani section following a fatal incident involving a pedestrian who was struck by a bearing pad that had fallen from a metro pier on October 26.
At about 9:30 p.m., the services were suspended. However, trains on the Agargaon-Uttara section were operational as usual.
