Dhaka, Nov. 15 -- Bangladesh's representative Tangia Zaman Methila is on her way to creating new history on the stage of the 74th 'Miss Universe' competition.

The model, who competed with contestants from 121 countries around the world, is currently at the top of the list in the "People's Choice" votes.

The news of this success was confirmed on social media by 'Miss Universe Bangladesh' and Methila's personal pages.

'Miss Universe Bangladesh' published a message on their official page announcing the achievement.

It said, "We did it Bangladesh. Now Bangladesh is number one. Keep voting for Bangladesh until November 19. Unstoppable Bangladesh."
