Dhaka, Oct. 18 -- Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone is set to take on a new role as the voice of Meta AI, the artificial intelligence platform of Meta Platforms, the parent company of Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp.

Deepika is the first Indian star to be the voice of Meta AI. She recently announced her new journey on social media.

In a video posted on Instagram, Deepika is seen recording her voice in a studio. There, Deepika says to her fans, "Hi, I'm Deepika Padukone, now I'm the new voice of Meta AI."
