Dhaka, July 10 -- A human chain was formed in Mongla and a memorandum was submitted to the Advisor of the Ministry of Railways demanding the launch of two inter-city trains "Mongla-Dhaka and Dhaka-Mongla" from the railway station of the port and tourist city of Mongla. The human chain programme was observed at the municipality premises at 10 am on Tuesday (July 08) under the banner of "Amara Monglabasi".
During the human chain, the rally was presided over by environmental activist Md. Nur Alam Sheikh, President of the Mongla Citizens' Association.
