Dhaka, Feb. 6 -- Actress and Director Meher Afroz Shaon has been detained from city's Dhanmondi. According to the Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), she was taken into custody on Thursday night.
Confirming the matter, DMP Additional Commissioner (DB) Rezaul Karim Mallik said, "Meher Afroz Shaon was detained on Thursday night from Dhaka's Dhanmondi area on charges of conspiracy against state. She is being taken to the DB office, where she will be interrogated regarding the allegations."
