Dhaka, Dec. 8 -- The medical board treating BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia believes she may recover in Bangladesh with proper care, even without being taken abroad.
A member of the board, requesting anonymity, said on Sunday night that her condition has shown slight improvement.
"Madam is doing better than before. We are giving her the best possible treatment here, and we believe she can recover in the country. She has been in more critical condition earlier and still recovered. It may not be necessary to take her to London," the doctor said.
He added that several of Khaleda's health indicators have improved. "CT scans, ECG, and some other tests were conducted on Sunday, and the results came back better."
