Dhaka, Aug. 2 -- Chattagram City Corporation (CCC) Mayor Dr. Shahadat Hossain inspected the city's roads and drains damaged in monsoon on Wednesday (30 July).
He observed the current condition of roads, drainage and related infrastructure from Pradhan Nagar Bhaban, Batali Hill, Tiger Pass, Chattagram to Bahaddarhat, Chawkbazar, Kapasgola, Farida Para.
During the inspection, when a resident of a five-story building in Farida Para threw dirt into the drain from the window, the mayor himself immediately called the building owner on his mobile phone and warned him that if such activities were done in the future, he would be punished by the magistrate.
