Dhaka, Dec. 23 -- The MAX-BSPA Journalist Award ceremony was held at the Dutch-Bangla Bank Auditorium in Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA) Bhaban on Tuesday. Secretary General of Bangladesh Olympic Association Syed Shahed Reza was the chief guest of the ceremony, while President of Bangladesh Sports Press Association (BSPA) Sanath Babla presided over the ceremony. The winners were given lucrative prize money and a crest for their contribution in journalism of 2019.
Mohammad Sekandar Ali of Samakal was adjudged the Sports Journalist of the Year 2019, while Mohammad Isam of ESPN cricinfo and Masud Alam of Prothom Alam were jointly awarded the Best Runners-up prizes.
