Dhaka, Nov. 22 -- Bangladesh's rising pace sensation Marufa Akter is set to chase a new milestone as she heads into the Women's Indian Premier League (WIPL) mega auction after making a strong impression at the last Women's ODI World Cup.

Her sharp in-swingers and early breakthroughs on the global stage turned heads, placing her among the most watched young quicks heading into the high-profile event.The WIPL mega auction will be held on November 27 in Delhi, where three Bangladeshi cricketers, including Marufa have registered. Shorna Akter, who scored 116 runs and took six wickets in seven matches, turned heads with a 34-ball fifty.
