People from all walks of life in the district on sunday observed the "Martyred Intellectuals' Day" paying rich tributes to the intellectuals who were brutally killed by the Pakistani occupation forces and their local collaborators at the fag-end of the country's Liberation War in 1971.
District Administration, Press Club, Public Library, Political and socio- cultural organisations, educational institutions have organised various programmes including discussions highlighting the significance of the day.
Kishoreganj Press Club arranged discussion meeting held at its conference room on Sunday evening. Press Club President A.K Nasim Khan presided over the discussion.
