Dhaka, July 26 -- Manchester City have reached a deal with Gremio to sign teenage midfielder Diego Rosa, according to widespread Brazilian press reports.

The English Premier League giants agreed to pay an initial fee of nine million euros (around 10 million U.S. dollars) with performances-based bonuses that could raise City's total outlay to 24 million euros, the UOL news outlet reported on Friday. The 17-year-old will join City in October following his 18th birthday and will initially be loaned to Belgian second division side Lommel, a Manchester City feeder club, the report added.

Rosa caught the interest of City talent scouts with his performances for Gremio's U-20 team earlier this year.
