Dhaka, March 30 -- The main Eid-ul-Fitr congregation in Dhaka will be held at 8:30 AM at the National Eidgah. However, if the weather is unfavourable, the prayer will be moved to Baitul Mukarram National Mosque at 9:00 AM.
A press release from the Ministry of Religious Affairs on Saturday confirmed that any changes to the Eid prayer schedule will be widely broadcast on electronic media.
The Ministry has also instructed Dhaka South City Corporation, the Press Information Department (PID), Bangladesh Television, and Bangladesh Betar to ensure the Eid congregation schedules at major mosques in Dhaka and key districts are shared through mass media.
