Dhaka, Oct. 24 -- Sixth seed Linda Noskova reached the quarter finals at the Toray Pan Pacific Open in Tokyo with a 5-7, 6-3, 6-4 win over McCartney Kessler.

Noskova hit 10 aces and saved six of nine break points to set up a quarter final match against Ana Kalinskaya, who overcame seventh seeded Diana Schnaider 7-6 (7-4), 2-6, 7-6 (7-5).

Noskova saved four break points to hold serve at deuce in the first game of the opening set. Kessler earned the first break in the fifth game to take a 3-2 lead.
