Dhaka, Nov. 30 -- Light tremors rolled through Loralai and the nearby areas in Balochistan province of Pakistan early Saturday, the kind that make people pause whatever they're doing and step outside just to be sure.
According to the National Seismic Monitoring Centre (NSMC), it passed quickly, almost as soon as residents realised what was happening.
The seismic office later put it at 3.4, with the epicentre about 23 kilometres to the south-east. No damage was reported in those first hours.
Earlier in the week, on Tuesday, Sibi had its own brief shake. That one came in at 3.1, shallow and over in seconds, somewhere about 60 kilometres north-east of the district.
