Dhaka, Oct. 2 -- Legendary comedian Lucky Dear, a hugely popular face on Pakistani stage, television and film, has passed away at the age of 60. He breathed his last at Mayo Hospital in Lahore after a long illness.

His death brought to an end a four-decade long comedy saga that had captivated generations.

The popular artiste had been suffering from a complex lung disease and diabetes for the past eight months.

He had been undergoing treatment at Mayo Hospital for several days due to serious health complications. But his condition continued to deteriorate day by day.
