Dhaka, April 26 -- A legal notice has been served seeking punitive actions against Dr. Jahangir Kabir and Dr. Tasnim Jara, senior joint member secretary of the National Citizens' Party (NCP), for allegedly spreading obscene and pornographic content through social media and online platforms.

The notice, sent on Thursday (April 24) by Supreme Court lawyer Barrister Mohammad Humayun Kabir Pallab, was addressed to top government officials, including the Secretaries of the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Ministry of Home Affairs, and Ministry of Law. It was also sent to the Chairman of the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) and the Inspector General of Police.
