Dhaka, Sept. 3 -- Former textile and jute minister Abdul Latif Siddique, who is facing an Anti-Terrorism Act case, has sought bail along with seven others. Their lawyer, Kayes Ahmed Arnab, filed the bail petition at the Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court on Wednesday morning. The bail hearing is scheduled for noon, and Arnab expressed hope that they would receive bail.
The other applicants for bail are Golam Mostafa, Zakir Hossain, Md Toushiful Bari Khan, Amir Hossain Sumon, Md Shafiqul Islam Delwar, and Abdullahil Qayyum.
