Dhaka, March 1 -- Meanwhile LafargeHolcim Bangladesh has declared a 50% cash dividend for shareholders for the year of 2023, the highest payout in its history. The announcement was made during a board meeting on Thursday, said a press release.

To approve the dividend and audited financial statement, the company will conduct the annual general meeting on 14 May. The shareholders will be entitled to the dividend till 14 March and will get to attend the annual general meeting.

In the press release, the multinational cement maker said during the last year its revenue had grown over 20% to Tk2,838 crore and net profit jumped by 34% to Tk594 crore. At the end of 2023, its earnings per share was Tk5.12. Its share price closed at Tk74.50 at the D...
