Dhaka, Dec. 25 -- Sri Lanka batter Kusal Mendis will not feature in this year's Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) for Noakhali Express due to health issues, a reliable source confirmed to Cricfrenzy.

Mendis underwent emergency surgery in Dubai last week after doctors detected a bladder stone, which required immediate medical attention. The surgery was completed successfully, and the Lankan batter has since been advised to remain on rest.
