Dhaka, Dec. 19 -- The long-standing feud between popular Indian singer Kumar Sanu and his ex-wife Rita Bhattacharya has reached the court's doorstep.

The legendary singer has filed a case in the Bombay High Court over Rita's defamatory remarks. He has also demanded Rs 30 lakh as compensation.

Kumar Sanu has taken legal action after being angered by his ex-wife's comments.

The singer claims that these allegations are completely baseless and motivated. Through this, his clean image built over a long 40-year career has been ruined.
