Dhaka, April 23 -- The Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) has officially withdrawn the expulsion orders of 37 students.
Alongside this decision, the university administration has also announced the reopening of all residential halls.
Pro-Vice-Chancellor SK Shariful Alam confirmed the decisions, which were made during a syndicate meeting held on Wednesday evening.
According to a press release signed by Registrar Engineer Anisur Rahman Bhuiyan, the halls were initially scheduled to reopen on May 2. However, the syndicate opted to reopen them immediately following the meeting.
