Dhaka, Jan. 24 -- Saudi Arabia deported 217 more Bangladeshi workers on Wednesday night and Thursday morning, raising the number to above 2,500 in last three weeks.

Of them, 103 workers returned by a Saudi Arabian Airlines flight at 11:20pm last night while 114 by another Saudi Arabian Airlines flight at 1:10am on Thursday.

Most of them said that they became helpless after entering Saudi Arabia at a huge cost.

However, after they went to KSA they faced many problems including denial of Ikama (work permit) by their Saudi employers.

Many of them returned within a few months from the country.
