Dhaka, May 15 -- A team from the Detective Branch (DB) of Khulna Metropolitan Police (KMP) arrested Md. Solaiman Morol, a member of the Batiaghata Upazila Jubo League, from the Hotel Royal Intersection in Khulna city on Wednesday around 12 noon.
Solaiman Morol is the son of Md. Kalam Morol, a resident of Chhota Boyra area under the Khalishpur police station in Khulna city.
According to Taimur Islam, the Officer-in-Charge (OC) of DB, KMP, Solaiman Morol has been involved in various terrorist activities aimed at suppressing the anti-discrimination student movement, collaborating with members of the banned student organization Chhatra League and Jubo League cadres.
