Dhaka, Dec. 19 -- Gemcon Khulna emerged the champions in the Bangabandhu T20 Cup Cricket edging past Gazi Group Chattogram by five runs in the final at the flood-lit Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the city's Mirpur on Friday.

Batting first Khulna piled up a fighting total of 155 for the loss of seven wickets in the stipulated 20 overs and then restricted Chattogram to 150 for the loss of six wickets in 20 overs.

Khulna lost their early three wickets for 43 runs.
