Dhaka, May 18 -- The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Saturday announced a prohibition on all forms of public gatherings, rallies, processions, and demonstrations in several key areas of Dhaka, effective from Sunday, 18 May, until further notice.

According to an official ISPR statement, the ban will be enforced in areas including Kochukhet Road, the stretch from Bijoy Sarani to the Chief Adviser's Office, the vicinity of Bir Sreshtho Shaheed Jahangir Gate, and areas extending from BAF Shaheen College to the Mohakhali Flyover. Additional locations affected include Sainik Club Mor, Bhashantek, Matikata, ECB Chattar, and surrounding zones.
