Dhaka, Jan. 30 -- High Court Division Justice Shahed Nuruddin - who is currently being investigated by the Supreme Judicial Council - has submitted his resignation letter to President Md Shahabuddin.
The Supreme Court's administration department announced this information in a statement on Thursday.
On October 16, Chief Justice Syed Refaat Ahmed placed 12 High Court judges, including Nuruddin, on leave following allegations that they had collaborated with the corruption and authoritarian Sheikh Hasina's government. These judges were barred from presiding over court proceedings.
