Bangladesh, Jan. 22 -- Justice Farah Mahbub of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court has been appointed as the new chairman of the Bangladesh Judicial Service Commission (BJSC).

The appointment was made by the President through a gazette notification issued today by the Law and Justice Division. The notification, signed by its Secretary Liaquet Ali Molla, stated that the appointment was made in accordance with Rule 3(2)(Ka) of the Bangladesh Judicial Service Commission Rules, 2007.
