Dhaka, March 2 -- The government has announced a new initiative to reserve seats in government secondary schools for the families of those injured or martyred during the July uprising, in addition to the children of freedom fighters and martyred freedom fighters.
The Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education has issued an official order on Sunday, implementing a new reservation policy for government secondary schools.
According to the directive, 5 per cent of seats will now be reserved for the children of freedom fighters and martyred freedom fighters, as well as for the families of those who were injured or martyred during the July 2024 mass uprising.
