Dhaka, July 28 -- World-renowned power-hitting coach Julian Wood is set to join the Bangladesh cricket set-up in August as part of their preparations for the 2025 T20 Asia Cup, which begins on September 9 in the UAE.

The Bangladesh national team are currently on a break following a packed playing schedule but will resume training with a preparation camp starting August 6 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.

Wood, widely credited for revolutionizing England's white-ball game with innovative power-hitting techniques, is expected to arrive in Dhaka before the camp begins. He will work with the squad for three weeks to enhance their batting firepower.
