Dhaka, March 4 -- A Dhaka court, for the third time, has deferred the judgment in the case involving two former teachers of Viqarunnisa Noon School and College, accused of allegedly driving their student, Aritri Adhikary, to commit suicide.

Judge Abdullah Al Mamun of the Twelfth Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge Court of Dhaka has rescheduled the pronouncement of the judgment for April 9.

Defense counsel Advocate Moshiur Rahman informed the media about the new date, stating that the court required additional time to prepare the verdict.

Previously, on November 27 last year, the court had scheduled January 21 as the date for the judgment, following the conclusion of both the prosecution and defense arguments.
