Dhaka, Nov. 14 -- An 18-year-old son of Rajshahi Metropolitan Sessions Judge Abdur Rahman was stabbed to death by a young man at their Dabtola residence on Thursday afternoon, police said.

The judge's wife, Tasmin Nahar Lucy, sustained severe injuries in the attack and is currently in critical condition.

The deceased, Tausif Rahman Sumon, was a ninth-grade student. Meanwhile, Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Adviser Dr Asif Nazrul has strongly denounced the heinous attack at the residence of Rajshahi Metropolitan Sessions Judge Mohammad Abdur Rahman, in which the judge's son, Taosif Rahman (Suman), was killed and his wife, Tasmin Nahar, critically injured.
