Dhaka, Nov. 16 -- A Dhaka magistrate court on Saturday ordered a five-day remand for Limon Mian, the lone accused in the horrific killing of Tawsif Rahman Sumon, the teenage son of a Metropolitan Session Judge, in Rajshahi.
The court also issued a show-cause notice to the Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) Commissioner for permitting the accused to speak to the media while in police custody.
Around 2:30 pm, investigators produced Limon before the Metropolitan Magistrate Court and sought a seven-day remand to interrogate him regarding Thursday's violent intrusion at the judge's rented flat in the Terakhadia area of Rajshahi city.
