Dhaka, Feb. 17 -- Journalist couple Shakil Ahmed and Farzana Rupa have been placed on a five-day police remand in connection with a murder case in Mirpur. Prior to this, they had been remanded twice in another case filed at Adabor Police Station.On Monday (February 17), Metropolitan Magistrate GM Farhan Ishtiaq granted the remand after a hearing. Inspector Nasir Uddin Sarker of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) sought a five-day remand for further interrogation.
