Dhaka, Sept. 26 -- The administration has continued its strict operation against battery-powered auto-rickshaws to restore order on the roads of Sylhet city and ensure safe travel.

On the third day of the operation, from Wednesday (September 24) morning, electricity connections were disconnected at illegal charging points in different areas of the city and meters were removed.

On the third day of the operation on Wednesday, 45 vehicles were seized. Among them, 32 battery-powered rickshaws, 2 CNG-powered auto-rickshaws, 10 motorcycles and a pickup. On the same day, 12 cases were filed for various violations of laws.
