Dhaka, March 23 -- On the night of March 15 , 2024 Jagannath University (JnU) student Fairuz Abantika committed suicide by writing a suicide note on her Facebook ID. It has been a year since her death. Before her death, she blamed a classmate and an assistant proctor for her death in a Facebook post. She was found hanging from a ceiling fan at her home in Cumilla and shifted to a local hospital where doctors confirmed her dead.
At that time, the administration formed an investigation committee within 24 hours on March 16, 2024 and ordered to submit a report within seven days, but the university administration did not publish this investigation report even in a year.
