Dhaka, Nov. 29 -- A delegation of Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO) visited the country's main seaport.
They expressed interest in investing in the port sector of Bangladesh. On Wednesday, the JETRO delegation paid a courtesy call on Commodore Ahmed Amin Abdullah, Member (Harbor and Marine) of the Chattogram Port Authority (CPA).
The JETRO delegation included Country Representative KazuikiKataok, Representative Tomotaka Minoura. Port Secretary Md. Omar Faruk, Assistant Harbor Master Captain Md. Ataul Hakim Siddiqui were present at the time.
The Member (Harbor and Marine) informed the delegation about the current operational capacity and efficiency of Chattogram Port.
