Dhaka, Sept. 6 -- The Central Party office of Jatiya Party (JP) located at the heart of the capital has once again come under vandalism and arson attack.
Witnesses said that a group of people equipped with sticks brought out a protest procession in front of the Jatiya Party office in the evening. At that time the protesters vandalised the office and later set fire to it. The police personnel were present near the spot.
Witnesses said that the Gono Adhikar Parishad arranged a rally at Shahbag protesting the recent attack on party President Nurul Haque Nur and demanding banning of Jatiya Party.
They said that a protest procession arrived at the Jatiya Party office and carried out the vandalism.
