Dhaka, Sept. 8 -- A grand JashneJulush rally was held on Saturday in Dhaka on the occasion of the 12th RabiulAwwal and the sacred Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW), as like every year.

The procession started from the historic Suhrawardy Udyan under the leadership of Shah Sufi Dr. Syed Saifuddin Ahmad Maizbhandari, President of Anjuman-e-Rahmaniya Mainiya Maizbhandariya and Chairman of Bangladesh Supreme Party (BSP), with the participation of hundreds of thousands of prophet-loving sufi devotees.

In the morning, the procession began from the west side of Suhrawardy Udyan, walked past Doel Chattar, Shikkha Bhaban, and Kadam Fountain Road, and returned to the Udyan through the west gate, where it joined the Peace Grand Assembly.
