Dhaka, Oct. 21 -- Janata Bank PLC has taken another major step toward digital transformation by launching two new initiatives the NFC-enabled "Taka Pay Card" and the "E-Credit Management System."

The move aims to modernise customer services, simplify loan disbursement, and strengthen the bank's digital capabilities.

The initiatives were launched on this week as part of "Tarunner Utsab (Youth Festival) 2025", a programme celebrating innovation and youth engagement in banking,according to press release.

Special Assistant to Chief Adviser Dr. Anisuzzaman Chowdhury attended the event as the chief guest and inaugurated the bank's Customer Service Fortnight along with the Taka Pay Card.
