Dhaka, Oct. 4 -- Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami has completed preparations to contest the upcoming national elections in all 300 parliamentary constituencies, the party's Secretary General and former lawmaker Professor Mia Golam Parwar announced on Friday.

Speaking as the chief guest at a reunion of Khulna City Unit Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir (ICS), held at the Al Faruq Society auditorium, Parwar said Jamaat was ready to enter the polls with full strength.

"Every worker of Jamaat must now enter the election field with full vigor. The time is most appropriate to take Deen (Islam) to the people across all parliamentary constituencies," he declared.

The gathering was held under the slogan "Drawn by Harmony, Back to the Roots (1977-2025)...
