Dhaka, May 23 -- Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami has urged for an all-party meeting to find a solution to the country's ongoing political and socio-economic challenges. The call was made by party Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman during an emergency meeting of the party's Central Executive Committee held on Thursday afternoon at the party's central office. The meeting, chaired by Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, was attended by members of the Central Executive Committee.
According to a press release issued by the party, the current national situation was discussed in detail during the session, with emphasis on the need for unity and constructive dialogue across political lines.
