Dhaka, Oct. 28 -- Team 'frfr' from Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) secured the 1st Runner-Up position at the Supply Chain Research Challenge 5.0, held on October 24, 2025.

The competition was organised by the Bangladesh Institute of Human Resource Management (BIHRM), an autonomous professional institute under the Ministry of Commerce, says a press release.

The contest aimed to promote academic and industry-based research in supply chain management, with teams competing through multiple research and presentation rounds.

The IUB team included Mahmudul Islam Raiyan and Marjan Ferdous Tasbih from the Department of Finance, and MubashwaraMehzabeen from the Department of Economics.
