Dhaka, July 2 -- Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Far Western University (FWU) in Nepal, aiming to strengthen academic cooperation and facilitate joint initiatives in research, education, and student engagement.
The 5-year MoU was signed on June 25, 2025, in Nepal at the FWU campus. IUB Vice Chancellor Prof. M. Tamim signed the agreement on behalf of the university. Prof. Dr. Hem Raj Pant, Vice Chancellor of FWU, signed on behalf of the university.
