Dhaka, July 24 -- Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Markfield Institute of Higher Education, UK, aimed at enhancing mutual cooperation in higher education and research.
The agreement was signed on Monday (July 21) at the campus of the Markfield Institute, located near Leicester, United Kingdom.
IU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. Nakib Muhammad Nasrullah and Rector of the Markfield Institute Dr. Zahid Parvez signed the MoU on behalf of their respective institutions.
Present at the signing ceremony were Barrister Asaduzzaman, General Secretary of Islamic University Alumni Association, UK, Dr. Farooq Murad, Director of Islamic Foundation Leicester, Delowar Hossain.
