Dhaka, July 26 -- Four Islamist political parties have agreed to deepen their unity and cooperation ahead of the upcoming national election, aiming to enhance coordination among religious political forces in the country.
The consensus was reached at a high-level meeting held Friday morning at the central office of Islami Andolan Bangladesh in Paltan, Dhaka. The meeting was presided over by the party's amir, Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim, widely known as the Pir of Char Monai.
