Dhaka, May 20 -- Supporters of BNP leader Ishraque Hossain protested again for the 4th day on Monday by blocking the main gate of the Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) headquarters, Nagar Bhaban.

Besides, hundreds of BNP activists also blocked the Purana Paltan-Bangshal road in Gulistan area, demanding the government appoint BNP leader Ishraque Hossain as the mayor of DSCC.

At the time, Ishraque supporters blocked one side of the road in the Gulistan Mazar area from 10 am to 4 pm. They blocked the road with trucks and ropes. As a result, severe traffic jams occurred on the Gulistan Sadarghat road.
