Dhaka, May 23 -- Paul Stirling became the first Irish batsman to reach 10,000 international runs and Andy Balbirnie made a century during a dominant 124-run win over the West Indies in the opening one-day international in Dublin on Wednesday.
Captain Stirling moved to a career total of 10,017 runs across Tests, ODIs and T20Is with a knock of 54 off 64 balls.
"Delighted to get there. It was something I dreamt of as a kid but as a professional cricketer you can't dwell too much about it," said Stirling.
