Dhaka, Nov. 20 -- Powerhouse Iran registered their third successive win in the 2nd Women's Kabaddi World Cup beating Zanzibar 51-15, held at Shaheed Suhrawardy Indoor Stadium in the capital on Wednesday.
Iran, the runners-up of the inaugural edition, earlier registered dominant wins in their first two matches against Poland and Kenya.
The Iranian side put pressure on Zanzibar from the beginning of the match. They achieved the first all-out against Zanzibar in the 11th minute. Iran earned 20 points while Zanzibar had only one. Iran ended the first half with a commanding 28-3 lead.
